Interior design of Air Rooms at Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) By Premium Traveler.
This innovative hotel concept has a comfortable and functional space for the user with fully equipped rooms within the airport terminal itself.
Location
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) is located in the vicinity of the city of Madrid and is the first Spanish airport for passenger traffic, air cargo and operations. In the same T4, we find the only hotel within the same airport.
Hotel Air Rooms
This innovative concept has a fully equipped hourly rental room service so you can sleep or rest comfortably while waiting for your flight to depart. This service is ideal for passengers in transit, passengers who want to sleep the night before their flight at the airport, or passengers who arrive at the airport well in advance of their flight departure.
How is your design?
The interior design reflects an elegant air where comfort and functionality prevail for the user. An element that draws attention is the fact that the rooms have been designed with the aim of having a dual use, where customers have the option of renting the room to access only the shower service or the entire room, this double functionality allows to respond to two objectives, on the one hand, the hotel expands the range of services available and on the other hand, the client only pays for what he needs.

The space is made up of an area of almost 700 m2, distributed on one floor that is accessed through a central entrance. For the interior design project, we had to make the most of the limited space to be able to meet all the needs of the client’s program, which included twenty-two rooms, a reception area, an arrivals hall, a warehouse, an office and a buffet area.
