General AviationLounge: global concept design.
Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA) also handles general aviation traffic: private airline planes that provide passenger transport services on request or for people using their own plane. For this, it has a terminal located just 15 km from the center of Rome, with 1,800 square meters totally dedicated to private and business aviation, which makes this terminal one of the main general aviation terminals in Europe, for its wide range of services.
Global concept design is one of our strengths; We start from the client’s briefing to study their needs and start working on the future brand. Working from brand identity to interior design. Our combination of experience and sensitivity helps us create spaces that transmit, are lived and felt.
Aviapartner Lounge CIA Airport
Aviapartner Lounge CIA Airport was inaugurated together with the 2 VIP lounges of the Rome Fiumicino airport, which we also designed. In this case, the room was intended for general aviation, where the operation varies from that found in commercial aviation. These types of spaces are sometimes used more by the crews of private flights than by the passengers themselves. Let’s say that we are not talking about long waits, but rather short transit spaces, but in which comfort and other complementary VIP services are also sought.
The VIP room has a program of basic spaces, with an elegant and comfortable design and although it is smaller, it has the most essential services for a VIP room, such as the buffet, the internet area and the rest area with TV.
The global concept design envisioned for general aviation lounges follows the same principles as that of the brand: modernity, lightness, and a sense of comfort.
