In this synthesized project, the concepts that we consider key to the creation of the Enrique Tomás Experience gastronomic restaurant and store are concepts that stem from the origins of the company, of the product, and that allow us to create a universe and a narrative consistent with your business project.
We have taken as a starting point the “market” which is the place where Enrique Tomás’ project began. We elevate this concept and transfer it to the world of entertainment, transforming an everyday experience -like going to the market to buy- into a spectacular, memorable and playful experience for the visitor.
Taking advantage of the fact that the premises are on the corner and that it is visible from both streets (Diagonal and Mallorca), we wanted the entrance to be the most spectacular point of the premises. For this reason, at this point we have designed a luminous structure that represents some awnings from a traditional market.
This structure incorporates luminous signs with key concepts of its flagship product and at the same time uses the language that we find both in a market, simulating the signs of each store, or a theater, circus or cabaret show: The gastronomic experience made a show.
The space has to convey the values of Enrique Tomás Experience, talk about the origins of the company, but above all, about the star product in question: the ham, the true protagonist. It is for this reason that we designed the space looking for the necessary strategies so that it is present in each perspective, without becoming an invasive or excessive presence.
The bar is the central element or point of union between the two dining rooms of the premises, in which we will find the space destined to cut the ham with a knife and elements or products that tell us about our Mediterranean origin and our gastronomic traditions..
One of our priorities was to generate interesting spaces and differentiated corners. To achieve this, it was necessary to think of general lighting and other secondary lighting that would allow warmer and more comfortable environments to be obtained at the lighting level. In the dining room at night, we proposed some old wooden planks that allow the light points to be closer to the tables and to be adjustable. In this way the lighting in this dining room is more focused and intimate. With this resource we achieve that the perception of height of the premises is lower and therefore the atmosphere is more welcoming.
In the daytime dining room we will find a hanging garden, which in addition to illuminating in a curious way, will generate a kind of installation on the ceiling that, apart from being visually attractive, will provide freshness and also reduce the double height of the premises.
At the back of the premises we find the store, with the golden tree, already an emblem of the brand, and which we can see in its new gourmet location.
