A global concept design project, where interior design and brand identity came together to create a product ready to be replicated in other spaces without losing its identity. Although subsequent projects present some aesthetic changes, this was the first with which the implementation of the brand began at Fiumicino airport.
Fiumicino International Airport
Fiumicino International Airport in Rome is the most important airport in Italy with an average of 43 million passengers per year. With 5 terminals, Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci is the largest airport in Italy and one of the main hubs in Europe, connecting international routes through Europe, America, Asia and Africa with the Italian city.
The project
The VIP lounge won in many respects by being renovated, as the old facilities had become outdated, and the VIP lounge offer is becoming more and more competitive.
The lounge’s design and materials have touches reminiscent of industrial aesthetics and certain elements can be seen replicated in the other VIP lounges that are part of the global concept design project. And it is that designing a base or model from which to start to transmit the same experience in another lounge is the objective. It is about impregnating the space with those elements that are considered representative enough to be identified by the user.
We have designed and executed several VIP lounges for Aviapartner:
