Interior design project in which we designed the VIP Lounge of the International Airport of the Americas in the Dominican Republic.
The design is replicable for other VIP lounges of the company in order for the client to identify them through their interior design.
The airport sector in Latin America
The Latin American airport sector is going through a period of growth, for this reason many projects are being generated for the creation and renovation of airports and, in turn, space projects for passenger services.
Before Boarding is a company that is dedicated to the management of VIP lounges and has the concession to operate several VIP lounges in airports in Latin America such as the Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo or the Gregorio Luperón International Airport in Puerto Plata, the two in the Dominican Republic.
The project
The project consisted of reforming several rooms, giving them a totally renewed aesthetic, in which elegance and comfort prevailed.
The Caribe VIP lounge, along with all the VIP lounges of Before Boarding, have several perfectly separated environments specially designed so that users waiting for the departure of their next flight can enjoy a space to work, socialize, eat, or rest.
The environments are well defined thanks to the interior design and the construction of dividing modules, with which, in addition to ordering the space, the aim was to ensure that the space was organized in a permeable and diaphanous way.
Another of the great advantages of this type of design is that it is fully replicable in other rooms of the company, thus fulfilling two fundamental objectives: on the one hand, that users recognize the brand only by remembering the design of its interiors, and on the other reduce costs for the company.
In this case we wanted the colors chosen for the interior design to remind us of the warm and majestic beaches of the Caribbean, with predominant colors such as white, turquoise, and green.
