The total space had an area of 2,533 square metres, with a 240 m2 multipurpose room with partitions, five meeting rooms, offices with all kinds of technology, rooms to rest (including a suite), a restaurant area and even , a fitness area with a gym, changing rooms and showers.
We carried out the global design concept for the new tender for this hospitality space. The Airum Room & Events BCN Project is part of a global project where interior design and graphic design come together to create an innovative space.
Ecological, natural and fresh materials, with an urban character, but always elegant, predominate in interior design. Light colors and combined with wood, glass and textile. The style of the selected finishes transmits serenity within the airport and speaks, in a certain way, the language of the city, like the hydraulic pavement or the white bathroom tile. Warmth transmitted by acoustic comfort and the natural touch of materials that seek above all visual order and simplicity.
The furniture selected for interior design conveys warmth and comfort. He is responsible for providing color and defining most of the style of the project. This furniture is produced for the most part in the Spanish state, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions to the planet due to the proximity of its production.
The different lighting pieces provide greater energy efficiency to the project as a whole, since most of them are pieces that support LED technology. At a style level, they follow the aesthetic line of the furniture and provide class and simplicity thanks to their lines and colours.
Thanks to the simplicity of the shapes and materials selected, a visual order is achieved in the space through the modularity of elements and passageways. To emphasize the diaphanous character of the interior design proposal, custom furniture has been designed and thanks to the dividing panels that are placed at different points, a permeability between spaces is created, but at the same time it divides them creating sub-rooms..
Brand identity design
With a name that refers to air, the brand identity was developed from all possible usage points of view. The logo is composed of a Bold sans-serif typeface, and is applied with an elegant and calm color palette composed of grays and a group of light olive greens. The combination has been developed from the interior design of the space. All the graphic design elements are analogous to the colors and architectural elements of the different interior design spaces, creating a coherence and analogy between physical space and graphic space.
A global design concept allows the creation of a unit with meaning, a 360º project where interior design and graphic design work together to show the brand identity that reflects the objectives to be achieved.
