Souvenir shop located in the Palacio de Congresos de Toledo. A global concept design project that ranges from the interior design of the store to the design of the merchandising product that is sold inside.

The project

This is a clear example of global concept design, in which we have dealt with the architecture of the kiosk, the interior design of the store, the brand identity and all the graphic design of merchandising that is sold inside, as well such as the packaging of the product and the subsequent work of visual merchandising of the exposed product..

The challenges of the project

The first challenge of the project was to create a dialogue between our design and the architectural volume of the Palacio de Congresos, designed by Rafael Moneo.

The design of the volume that we proposed for the Gift Shop store was that of a small structure with a certain ephemeral connotation since it is ultimately a kiosk.

Another integrating aspect was the choice of wood to cover the exterior, which apart from emitting a strong message of respect for the historical references with the city, would make the volume integrate perfectly with the colors of its surroundings.

For the interior design, we created a completely wooden interior, with totally innovative display systems designed by us.

The flooring and all its furniture, which was designed completely to measure, were built with the same wood that was used for the exterior. In this way, the store was made a light volume, almost as if it were street furniture.

Global concept design

Since it was a global concept design project, we also took care of the design of the corporate image. We designed the logo taking into account the close relationship that the Gift Shop has with the Toledo Conference Center.

Once this initial creative process was defined, we carried out art direction work, selecting a total of 175 different product references and creating hundreds of new merchandising references such as postcards, posters, t-shirts, key rings, bags and other products that contained designed graphics. for us.
