Created by Indy Blue Studio, the Pearl Lounge Brand Book establishes a shared design direction for the brand’s airport lounges, bringing consistency to the guest experience while allowing each location to express its own character.
The project
An international lounge brand needs to feel familiar across different airports, cultures and operational environments. The Pearl Lounge Brand Book provides a common reference for translating the brand into physical spaces.
Indy Blue Studio developed the book to connect brand identity with interior design, helping project teams approach individual lounges as part of a wider family. It provides a framework for design decisions as the Pearl network evolves.
The design approach
The central challenge is to balance consistency with flexibility. Lounges vary in size, configuration and passenger profile, so a recognisable identity must be able to adapt to different settings.
The book sets out a design language that can guide this process, creating continuity across locations while leaving room for local influences. The aim is to give each lounge a sense of belonging, both to the Pearl brand and to its destination.
From brand to experience
A lounge’s identity is expressed through more than its logo. It emerges through the atmosphere of the space, the way guests move through it and the settings available for dining, working and relaxing.
The Pearl Lounge Brand Book brings these considerations into a shared design framework. It helps connect individual project decisions to a clear ambition: a welcoming, coherent experience that passengers can recognise across the network.
